Pertama-tama izinkan saya menyampaikan terima kasih dan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya kepada Ibunda Gubernur Jawa Timur Dra. Hj. Khofifah Indar Parawansa, M.Sos atas amanah yang telah diberikan kepada saya untuk menahkodai SMK Negeri 1 Klabang tertanggal 02 Desember 2022. Amanah tersebut tentu saja adalah titik awal (starting point) dari sebuah perjalanan baru memulai pengembaraan panjang untuk mencetak generasi emas bangsa Indonesia melalui pendidikan berkualitas. Namun, perlu saya sampaikan bahwa sejauh-jauh apapun kita akan melangkah pastilah kita memulainya dengan satu langkah yaitu langkah pertama. Lao tse dalam hal ini pernah mengatakan “A jouney of thousands miles must begin with a single step” artinya perjalanan beribu-ribu mil atu beribu-ribu kilometer pastilah diawali oleh satu langkah. Ini maknanya bahwa mencapai puncak harapan tidaklah instan tetapi membutuhkan proses. Kita semua telah menapaki langkah panjang untuk meraih sukses walapun terkadang dalam perjalanan mencapai kesuksesan, kita menghadapi bukit terjal dan jurang yang dalam. Namun semangat ini menjadi keyakinan besar bagi kita semua untuk menjadi bagian dari komponen bangsa yang akan berkontribusi besar dalam mendesain peradaban bangsa ini menjadi bangsa yang unggul, bermartabat dan berdaya saing tinggi dari kabupaten kecil dan terpencil namun sangat bergeliat yaitu Kabupaten Bondowoso.
Mengawali kisah cinta di SMK Negeri 1 Klabang ini saya ingin menyitir sebuah adagium “Hari ini adalah sebuah masa lalu dan masa depan adalah hari ini”. Ketika kita berbicara tentang masa kini sesungguhnya kita akan mengatakan hari ini menjadi kemarin ketika besok menjelang, dan kita segera menyebut masa depan itu menjadi hari ini ketika besok sudah tiba, artinya apa yang kita raih hari ini adalah refleksi dan resultante dari perjuangan masa lalu, dan apa yang akan kita dapatkan di masa depan adalah buah dari jerih payah kita di masa kini.
Dan Perjuangan Adalah Pelaksanaaan Kata-Kata, semangat gotong royong bertabur cinta harus kita berikan sepenuhnya untuk secara bersama-sama membangun peradaban bangsa Indonesia tercinta ini melalui kristalisasi keringat yang tak akan kunjung padam. Saya mengusung mimpi besar mewujudkan visi bersama kita yakni terwujudnya lulusan SMK Negeri 1 Klabang BISA HEBAT. BISA HEBAT merupakan akronim dari Beriman, Inovatif, Solutif, Akhlak mulia, Humanis, Expert, Berkarakter, Amanah, dan Terampil. Visi besar tersebut bertumpu pada payung teduh bernama Krida Widya Dharma, sebuah tekad bersunggguh-sunguh dalam melayani pendidikan.
Terakhir sekali sebelum saya mengakhiri rangkaian kata yang terukir menjadi kalimat penuh doa ini, izinkan saya menyampaikan sebuah pesan moral dari universitas kehidupan untuk kita semua:
Jika Semua Yang Kita Kehendaki Terus Kita Miliki, Darimana kita Belajar Ikhlas.
Jika Semua Yang Kita Impikan Segera Terwujud, Darimana Kita Belajar Sabar.
Jika Setiap Doa Kita Terus Dikabulkan, Bagaimana Kita Dapat Belajar Ikhtiar.
Dari semua itu, biarlah Tuhan yang berdaulat sepenuhnya atas hidup kita karena dia tahu yang tepat untuk memberikan yang terbaik.
Mari bersama kita bangun SMK Negeri 1 Klabang yang kian teduh kita memanggilnya dengan SKANELA, jayalah SKANELA, Sekolahmu, Sekolahku, dan Sekolah Kita Semua.
